Patriarchy vs Feminism, Which one are you?

today's such a blessing day because we have an eid al fitr 1441.

taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum, may Allah accept all of our prayers and good deeds in Ramadhan.

the aim I made this blog was I want to increase my confidence in english. because I almost got a bachelor degree, but I'm still unconfident with my english ability :(

so, I'm sorry if this blog contains much of grammar incorrectness, I'm opened to any critics and suggestions. 

In this blog, I would like to write down issues or probably my random thoughts. Hopefully, you enjoy it, even though it wouldn't be as nice as you expect.

today, I'm gonna share my opinion about patriarchy and feminism.

this was a kind of controversial topic nowadays. There are a lot of instagram accounts that posted words or pictures to express their opinion about it.

I divided this topic into three parts. first, I would describe what the meaning of feminism and patriarchy are. The second part would be talking about the instances of each other. and the last part I would like to share my point of view and which side I prefer to be.

ok let's get started!

patriarchy and feminism was a kind of mindset about women's value. patriarchy was a mindset of looking women as a conventional meaning, such as women are destined to be a housewife so they have to stay at home all the time, or women should follow their husband, so they can't choose their life path, women can't be a leader, etc. simply concluded that women have a lower level instead of men, so they don't have same opportunities. On the other hand, feminism was a mindset of equality within women and men. most of modern people agreed with feminism because they thought it would be fair if either women and men have the same position and opportunities. feminism was born (i don't know the actual time is) because of women's violence issues. it was pretty much often we heard about women's sexual harassment or another thing that placing them undervalues. so nowadays people speak louder against that. 

let's move to the second part

several instances of patriarchy mindset have been described as before, then now I want to give some instances of feminism. what I've known about feminism nowadays, is like being career women. many of them desired to work instead of being a housewife. because of being career women considered to be more successful rather than they're not. imagine that you worked in a company and you were paid more than 10 million yet you're having a baby soon. Would you mind getting resign from your job to take care of your baby? hmmm it would be a difficult decision for me wkwkw

then which side I prefer to be? am I patriarchy? or am I feminism?

both of them, have goods and bads in several things. but I do believe that every creation has a natural tendency. I can't describe "natural tendency" into the sentences, but I'll try to describe it through an example. normally, water always falls from the higher to the lower, and it's called the natural tendency of water. it's possible to make water goes up from lower to higher, yet it needs more energy. we have to pump it because of opposing gravity. although we pump it with our greatest energy, the water would still fall from higher to lower. so, every creation has a natural tendency which can't be refused. 

how about a human being? of course, a human being has a natural tendency and so women are. what are the natural tendencies of women? for a simple example, it is just women who can be pregnant, and it is just women who can be born a baby. so that's a natural tendency that can't be refused

for me, it is a responsibility to fulfill our natural tendency, for being either wife or mother. for example wife should be able to take care of her children, being the first-education for them, being a shield to protect them inner and outer, etc. so women should be home.

yet beside of that, to educate children women should be educated first :) so I think education and experiences are also needed in this context. Those can't be reached if women just stay at home. simply means women also have to explore the world.

I ain't feminism most or patriarchy most, yet I am half of them.

in some cases, I am being feminism, and other cases I am being patriarchy.
